Colour Play Kitchen Counter Stool

The Kitchen Counter Stools are part of &New’s Colour Play dining room collection, which consists of dining tables, benches, stools and cabinets made in Britain by local craftsmen.

The design of the collection was driven by function and the minimal &New aesthetic. There is a considered colour wave running through the furniture, combining pastels and bright colours, creating a vibrant and exciting dining room set. The tall stools are available in 105 different colour combinations; fifteen powder coated colours for the steel frames and seven colours for the lacquered wooden tops.

The seats are made with food-safe lacquered plywood. The paint is skilfully applied onto a colour-matched undercoat leaving the grain of the birch plywood on show. Therefore, every single seat is beautifully different depending on the grain and character of the plywood underneath. The paint has an elegant satin finish, with a hint of gloss. The playful and functional design looks great in a modern kitchen.
